Through investigations, we found out that there was no exact material that could replicate the skin. However, we found out that good skin quality is when the skin is smooth. Skin is smooth when the skin is moist and to test for the amount of moisture within the skin, we are trying to use jelly as a replica of the skin for the experiment.
Jelly is 82% water, allowing us to see how much water will evaporate through application of different soap. We will weigh the jelly everyday to see how much water is lost after applying different types of soap.
To make sure the soaps have a constant effect on the jelly, we will apply the soaps on their respective soaps each day.
